Hey out there.

Just wanted to let you know that we will be closing the shop for the week of Christmas (that’s 12/23 until 12/30). You will still be able to place orders, but nothing will ship until Monday, December 31st. If you want something to make it out before we go on holiday, be sure to place your order before Noon on Saturday, December 22nd. That’s the final cut-off. After that, you’ll just have to wait! (But Mom always said good things are worth waiting for…)

Also, this coming Friday is the last day to enter the Grain Edit Giveaway extravaganza (by 5pm PST to be exact). We’ve got a couple of posters in their epic giveaway bundles. Check out their website for more details on how to enter.

The Season is upon us! You may have noticed that we’ve slowly been updating the shop with all the latest goods. There is still time to get your orders in and shipped off before the Holidays are here.

We have a couple of our new prints up over at Grain Edit for their Holiday Giveaway Bash. Anyone can enter the giveaway by “liking” their Facebook page, or following them on Pinterest. More details, along with a listing of all the work that’s up for grabs, can be seen over at the Grain Edit blog.

APE Wrap-Up

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth this year at Alternative Press Expo. We had such a blast meeting new folks at the table and catching up with old friends who flew in for the show. We can’t wait for next year!

APE Preview: Apparel

And here we are on Part Two of our APE preview posts. Although it is quite possible that we have a few more surprises up our sleeves, so don’t count this as the end just yet. For now let’s get to our wearable goods!

We pulled out all the stops with our new apparel this year in order to really celebrate the details. Secret pockets inside of other pockets, antique nickel finishes, wrist cuffs with built-in thumb holes, incredibly soft organic cottons and french terry with reinforced twill seams, oh my! But above all we’ve stayed true to our whimsy with bold, adventurous designs.

We can’t wait to share these with you at Alternative Press Expo this weekend. Come see us at booth #602!

APE Preview: Prints

We are going to do a two-part sneak peek for our new wares that will be debuting at APE this weekend. First up: prints!

These beauties are 3-color screenprints that have been hand-printed on 100 lb cover stock from French Paper Co. They are both 18 x 24 inches and look fantastic on their own or as a set. Each print is signed and numbered in editions of 100, so snatch ‘em up while you can.

Stop by to see us at booth #602 at Alternative Press Expo this weekend if you want a complete first look. They will be available for purchase on the website after APE has concluded. Hope to see you there!

This Weekend: APE!

It’s that time, finally! We’re counting down the days until Alternative Press Expo kicks off this weekend. If you’re local, we’d love to see you there (hey, there’s a bar inside!). Here is the official info:

When: Saturday October 13th 11am-7pm + Sunday October 14th 11am-6pm

We’ll be previewing our new goodies on the website and over on our facebook page this week as the event looms closer. This year we will have  some special APE pricing on certain items, and the new goods won’t hit the website for purchase until after the event. So stop by our booth for some great deals, special APE-exclusive art, and a first full look at all the new wares we’ve got. Hope to see you there!

Alternative Press Expo 2012

We’re very busy getting things ready for Alternative Press Expo. Our little studio helper has all but exhausted himself…

This year we’ll be neighboring with our good friend Jenny from JAKC Designs. Lots of other friends will be scattered throughout the show as well: the Round Robin crew, Willie Real, Mike Lee, and more. It’s going to be a great time. Mark your calendars for October 13th and 14th, we’d love to see you there!

Back from LA!

Thanks for such a great turnout at the DARWIN show, everyone. We had a blast! Thanks again to Q Pop Shop for hosting, and to our DJs Albert Lozano and Clay Morrow for turning some sweet jams. If you weren’t able to make it out for the event, you can still stop by to see the work until March 25th. The artwork will also be displayed on our website and on Q Pop’s website shortly.

Also just a note: we are nearly sold out of our Woodland Creatures Tees. Just a few smalls and x-larges left, so grab them while you can. We won’t be doing another run of that design. So when they’re gone, they’re gone for good.

DARWIN Show at Q Pop Shop

If you follow Chris over at his blog or on twitter, you may have seen some of these sneak peeks for his upcoming show, DARWIN, with Disney artist Joey Chou. They’ve both been hard at work putting everything together for the last few months. So mark your calendars, it’s going to be a great time and we hope to see you there!

The Shop is Live!

The online shop is live, and all our items are now available for purchase through the site. We have some new work in production and collaborative projects in the pipe. Chris is also busy working away on an art show that will be held down in LA this spring (and Beans is busy helping, as you can see). We’ll have more info on that soon. It’s shaping up to be an exciting year!
